Vagabondthief, I bring this to my Acousitc sessions the Rode M3 with a 9v battery is placed in the room and this helps control volume in perfectly, so many ideas captureld swhen jamming in a room with some acoustic instruments love it. I'm just getting into using GarageBand on my iPhone and iPad. I ran across a YouTube video of a guy using the Tascam iXZ for recording acoustic guitar and vocals, but reviews on Amazon are not very favorable, particularly regarding latency.
